Industrial Tapes Sales Manager - New England

Client Details
Our client is a leader in chemical manufacturing, and they specialize in industrial adhesives , industrial tapes , and anticorrosion products. They have successfully acquired and integrated 5 companies since 2018 and are on a continued growth trajectory.
Description
Responsibilities:

- Drive profitable growth and maintain or increase market share.
- Communicate frequently with customers and channel partners regarding contract issues, problem resolution, and new business opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities in the marketplace and make strategic recommendations to counteract their actions.
- Secure product approvals and gain specifications for company offerings.
- Negotiate favorable terms with customers to maximize profit margins while adhering to established pricing guidelines; assist in contract development.
- Build relationships with customers beyond the Purchasing Department and provide relevant information to the Sales Director.
- Attend industry functions, seminars, and symposiums to represent the company and gather market insights.
- Collaborate with customers to increase market share by developing new products and addressing customer needs.
- Clearly communicate customer requirements to our organization and understand how they align with our capabilities.
- Drive growth in the sales funnel and maintain an active CRM database.
- Provide input to the Sales Director related to sales forecasting and budgeting.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including creating presentations, videos, blogs, and white papers.

Profile
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years in a relevant sales role.
- Self-directed and able to work independently.
- Strong mental flexibility, patience, and ability to multitask.
- Must be willing to travel within the assigned territory.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365; strong proficiency in Excel is highly favorable.
- Experience in the industrial tapes or wire and cable industry is strongly preferred.
Job Offer

- $100,000 - $120,000 base salary
