Corporate Quality Assurance Manager

This is a newly created role to support Quality Assurance and Product Development across Wholesale Distribution and Co-Pack operations.

My client is an industry leading Food Distributing company.

Description

Experience in companies that primarily co-pack and/or import the majority of their products. Should have managed a large number of SKUs across multiple categories. Must have experience with FSMA, HACCP, ReposiTrak or similar software, and extensive experience auditing and certifying suppliers or co-packers worldwide. Responsible for FDA and USDA permits and inspections.

Proven experience building quality teams and programs from scratch, with strong managerial skills. Needs a high level of planning, prioritization, and program design capability.

Additionally, should have experience in product development, particularly in developing formulas/recipes through third parties rather than in-house lab work, including exposure to sensory panels and similar evaluations.

Must have a technical background, but should not come from a traditional factory QA role, as that experience is less relevant for this position.

Profile

• Corporate Quality Assurance experience
• Experience managing multiple co-packers / co-manufacturers from a QA perspective
• 3-5 years of professional experience
• Bachelor's degree is nice to have
• Bilingual in Spanish is nice to have
