Senior Accounting Manager - Property

We are seeking a proficient Senior Accounting Manager with an accounting background in property management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is expected to have strong leadership skills as well as a comprehensive knowledge in financial reporting and property accounting.

Description

• As the Senior Accounting Manager-Property you will oversee financial reporting and forecasting processes for the portfolio.
• Manage property accounting functions
• Manage a team of Property Accountants, as well as the AP and AR teams
• Own the month end close process, produce clean and robust financial statements and analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Lead the accounting team and manage their performance
• Engage with stakeholders and present financial information
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for accounting processes

Profile

A successful Senior Accounting Manager-Property should have:

• Extensive knowledge in financial reporting, forecasting, and property accounting
• Must have an accounting background from property management (large portfolio).
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Solid understanding of accounting standards and regulations
• Proven experience in strategic planning and decision-making
• Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• This is an in office role located in Las Vegas, NV; will relocate someone from within the United States
