Description

Assistant Superintendent - Public / Academic Construction - Responsibilities

• Oversee all field operations, ensuring work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
• Coordinate, direct, and supervise subcontractors and direct labor on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, schedule, quality control, and cost control standards.
• Develop and maintain the site logistics plan to ensure smooth operations across all project aspects.
• Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining the overall project schedule.
• Lead weekly foreman and safety meetings to ensure team alignment and safety adherence.
• Attend and contribute to weekly owner meetings, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns.

Profile

Assistant Superintendent - Public / Academic Construction - Will have

• 2-5 years of experience in the construction field.
• Background in ground-up or renovation projects, ideally in public or academic K-12 projects (preferred but not required).
• Experience managing projects of $20M+ and preferably some public sector experience (not multifamily).
• Strong working knowledge of ProCore, P6, and other construction technologies.
• Massachusetts Unrestricted Supervisor's License (required).
• An Associate's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred but not required).

Job Offer

Assistant Superintendent - Public / Academic Construction - Will receive

• Base salary: $70K - $110K
• Project Bonus: $2K - $5K based on project completion
• 8% 401K contribution
• Full health benefits (100% coverage)
• Paid time off (2 weeks PTO for new recruits, 5 sick days, 2 personal days)
• Vehicle allowance: $500/month
• Performance-based bonuses for outstanding work (up to 10% of base salary)
