Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager
The Senior Regulatory Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that all food products comply with local, national, and international regulatory standards. This individual will lead regulatory compliance efforts, develop and implement policies, and work cross-functionally to support product development, labeling, and market entry.

Regulatory Compliance & Strategy:Develop, implement, and oversee regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, CFIA, and other global food safety regulations.
Monitor and interpret changes in food regulations and standards, providing guidance and updates to internal teams.
Serve as the primary regulatory contact for government agencies and industry associations.
Lead regulatory risk assessments and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate potential compliance issues.
Product Compliance & Labeling:Review and approve product formulations, ingredient statements, and nutritional panels for compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure accurate and compliant product labeling, including allergen declarations, nutrition facts, and claims (e.g., organic, non-GMO, gluten-free).
Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Marketing teams to assess new product developments and reformulations for regulatory adherence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with Quality Assurance, Legal, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to ensure all products meet regulatory requirements before launch.
Provide training and guidance on regulatory matters to internal stakeholders, ensuring company-wide adherence to food safety laws.
Manage relationships with external regulatory consultants, certification bodies, and government agencies.
Regulatory Documentation & Audits:Maintain and organize regulatory documentation, including product dossiers, safety data, and certifications.
Prepare and submit regulatory filings and registrations as required for new product launches and market expansions.
Support internal and external audits, addressing any regulatory compliance issues that arise.
Profile
- Bachelor's in Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, Nutrition, or a related field Required!
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the food manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of FDA, USDA, CFIA, and other international food regulations.
- Strong experience in food labeling, claims substantiation, and ingredient compliance.
- Proven ability to lead regulatory strategy and interact with regulatory authorities.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with regulatory software systems and databases is a plus.
This role is located in The Valley
Job Offer
- Annual Salary: $125,000-$155,000 DOE
