Customer Quality Manager - Electronic Manufacturing - Lawrence

The Customer Quality Manager, Electronic Manufacturing will oversee the customer return (RMA) process, ensuring timely evaluation, analysis, and resolution of product issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. They will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive corrective actions, improve product reliability, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the factory.

Description

The Customer Quality Manager, electronic manufacturing, will:

  • Review customer return requests, determine eligibility, and issue RMA numbers in line with company policies
  • Administer and manage all RMA processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling
  • Provide responsive support to customers regarding the RMA process, return status, and resolution options
  • Develop a strong understanding of products to guide Engineering teams through failure analysis and technical reporting
  • Interface with customers and Applications Engineering teams to address and resolve product-related concerns
  • Perform data mining, reporting, and publishing of RMA performance metrics, including PPM and cycle times
  • Collaborate with factory quality and manufacturing teams to drive corrective and preventive actions for returned products
  • Coordinate quality objectives with production procedures to maximize product quality and efficiency
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives based on customer return trends and root cause analysis
  • Ensure accurate documentation and communication of return-related findings and resolutions
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and product reliability
  • Maintain compliance with internal standards and external customer requirements throughout the RMA process
  • Onsite daily in Lawrence, MA

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (BSEE REQUIRED)
  • 5-10 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, ideally in a technical or failure analysis role
  • Strong technical foundation in electronics and manufacturing processes
  • Experience leading or supporting failure analysis investigations
  • Well-organized with strong program management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple technical projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across engineering, operations, and management teams
  • Proven ability to coordinate activities across multiple departments
  • Comfortable working within a structured technical operations environment
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, self-driven approach to project ownership and resolution
  • Local to Lawrence, MA
