Director - LatAm Corporate Credit Risk
The Director, LatAm Corporates will be responsible for overseeing corporate credit approval processes across Latin America. This position involves evaluating credit applications, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring sound credit decisions that align with business objectives. Strong expertise in corporate credit risk assessment, financial structuring, and regional market dynamics is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the review and approval of corporate credit requests, ensuring alignment with financial and business considerations.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including assessing repayment capacity, industry risk, and counterparty creditworthiness.
- Provide recommendations on credit limits, terms, and structuring based on financial data and risk assessment.
- Monitor portfolio exposure, identifying trends and potential credit concerns.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including relationship managers, finance teams, and senior leadership, to support effective credit decisions.
- Stay informed on market conditions, regulatory developments, and geopolitical factors impacting credit risk in the region.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
Profile
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in corporate credit approval, with a strong focus on Latin America.
- Expertise in financial statement analysis, credit structuring, and underwriting.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to balance risk and business growth.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field preferred
Job Offer
$165,000-$230,000 base salary, plus bonus.
