Junior Superintendent - Commercial Construction
The client is seeking a Junior Superintendent to support the day-to-day operations of construction projects in South New Jersey. As a Junior Superintendent, you will work closely with senior team members to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Description
- Assist in managing and coordinating all on-site construction activities.
- Collaborate with project managers and senior superintendents to oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Supervise subcontractors, ensuring that they meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Conduct site inspections and report on progress, potential issues, and any changes that may arise.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, enforcing safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation and review of project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and meeting notes.
Profile
- 1-3 years of experience in commercial or retail construction or a related field.
- Familiarity with construction processes, schedules, and safety standards.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
- OSHA 30-Hour certification is a plus, but not required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is a plus, but not required.
