Description

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department
• Manage a team of six specialists
• Monitor company expenses and implement cost-saving measures
• Prepare financial reports and provide updates to senior leadership
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles
• Implement AP procedures to improve efficiency
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Mentor and guide AP team members

Profile

A successful AP Manager should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 10+ years of accounts payable experience
• Management experience
• AP process automation experience
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
• Proficiency in using accounting software
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
