Description

As the Senior Project Engineer, you will take on a critical role at the intersection of design, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. This position offers the opportunity to lead high-impact engineering initiatives, enhance product performance, and contribute directly to operational efficiency. You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that products are designed with precision, built to spec, and continuously improved. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead new product designs and come up with ways to improve existing ones.
  • Tweak product designs and processes to boost efficiency and cut costs.
  • Use 3D CAD to design mechanical parts and create clear specs for production.
  • Work closely with teams across engineering, quality, and manufacturing to get things built right.
  • Help solve technical issues and support both coworkers and customers with product know-how.

Profile

To succeed as a Senior Project Engineer, candidates should bring a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership experience, and problem-solving ability. This role requires not only hands-on design and development skills, but also the confidence to manage projects, communicate across teams, and engage directly with customers. A successful candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment. Key qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of experience in product design or development.
  • 3+ years in project management or a lead role.
  • Strong 3D CAD skills and the ability to interpret technical prints.
  • Solid understanding of core engineering principles, machining processes, and tooling design.
  • Comfortable writing reports, presenting to teams, and working with customers.
  • Able to think logically and solve complex problems using math, data, and engineering analysis.
