Savannah GA, Superintendent- Light Industrial/ Aviation
This role requires an experienced superintendent to lead ground-up light industrial and aviation construction projects, managing site operations, subcontractors, schedules, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has prior expereince working with a top ranked General Contractor, excels in clear communication, problem-solving, and quality control to ensure successful, on-time project delivery.

Description
- Primary site leader of all subordinate superintendents, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Establish project plan, maintain weekly progress and pulse of project.
- Manage and coordinate all job site operations.Manage labor and subcontractors to ensure work quality and on-time delivery of services.
- Maintain positive relationship with Owners, Design Consultants, and PM's.
- Coordinate with local jurisdiction inspectors and utility company representatives to ensure compliance.
- Strictly enforce Safety Program and manage the Quality Control ProgramPrepare and maintain detailed short-term schedules.
- Manage accurate invoice payment process and financial management of the project costs.
- Resolve day to day field issues.
- Prepare daily reports with all manpower and significant activities.
Profile
- Extensive field experience in ground-up light industrial and aviation projects
- Strong leadership skills to manage crews, subcontractors, and site operations effectively
- Expertise in site logistics, structural systems, and specialized infrastructure (e.g., hangars, tilt-wall, MEP-heavy facilities)
- Proven ability to maintain schedules and drive productivity in fast-paced environments
- In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance (OSHA, FAA-related guidelines, etc.)
- Quality-focused, ensuring all phases-from grading and foundations to final punch-meet or exceed standards
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with owners, design teams, inspectors, and internal staff
- Proactive problem solver who anticipates issues and implements solutions quickly
- Technically proficient, with ability to interpret drawings, manage RFIs, and use construction management software
- Team-oriented, upholding company values of integrity, accountability, and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
