Junior Estimator
They are seeking a Junior Estimator to support preconstruction and estimating efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their construction career looking to grow their estimating and procurement skillset in a hands‑on environment.
Experience does not need to be limited to high‑end residential-candidates with commercial or multifamily residential experience are encouraged to apply.

Our client is a well‑established General Contractor based in Brooklyn, specializing in high‑end residential interior gut renovations. Their portfolio includes townhomes, brownstones, and single‑family apartments throughout Brooklyn. Known for detailed craftsmanship and thoughtful execution, they partner closely with owners, designers, and architects to deliver premium residential spaces.
Description
As a Junior Estimator, you will be responsible for the following:
- Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications
- Assist with pricing, estimating, and proposal preparation
- Support procurement efforts and vendor/subcontractor outreach
- Maintain organized cost data, bid logs, and scope sheets
- Collaborate with project managers and senior estimators during preconstruction
- Assist with budget updates and value‑engineering exercises

Profile
A successful Junior Estimator should have:
- 1-3 years of experience in estimating, procurement, or preconstruction
- Background in construction (residential, commercial, or multifamily)
- Basic understanding of construction means and methods
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with takeoff software is a plus
- Motivated to learn and grow within a construction team
