Project Manager- Shell Construction
An established general contractor in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Project Manager with strong experience in shell construction to oversee the structural shell of a high-rise apartment development. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in complex, large-scale concrete and structural builds and is ready to take ownership of a signature project.

Our client is a well-regarded shell contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-rise concrete structures throughout South Florida. Known for their hands-on leadership team, technical expertise, and strong subcontractor relationships, they are experiencing steady growth and have secured several high-profile projects in the pipeline.
Description
Manage the full project lifecycle of the high-rise shell construction, from preconstruction through close-out.
Coordinate and supervise all field operations related to concrete, formwork, rebar, and vertical construction.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
Work closely with superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and timely execution.
Communicate effectively with developers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve issues promptly.
Oversee procurement, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and all documentation for project execution.
Profile
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a shell contractor or GC focusing on structural concrete work.
Proven experience managing the shell phase of high-rise apartment or commercial projects.
Strong understanding of structural drawings, concrete placement, and vertical construction sequencing.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred but not required).
Job Offer
Competitive base salary in the range of $110,000-$140,000 depending on experience.
