Superintendent- K-12 Construction
We're seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation K-12 school construction projects across Miami-Dade County. This role requires a proactive leader with a proven track record of managing field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule performance on education-focused builds.

Known for their strong relationships with local school boards and repeat client base, they specialize in K-12, higher education, and municipal facilities. With a strong backlog of projects and a people-first culture, they offer a stable and growth-oriented environment for construction professionals.
Description
Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to final handover.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal teams to maintain progress and quality standards.
Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and district-specific regulations.
Manage project schedules, monitor critical path milestones, and mitigate delays proactively.
Communicate daily with project managers and clients to provide progress updates and resolve issues.
Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and craftsmanship required by the school district.
Profile
5+ years of Superintendent experience, preferably with a focus on K-12 or public works projects.
Strong knowledge of Florida building codes, DOH/DOC standards, and school board inspection requirements.
Excellent leadership, scheduling, and communication skills.
Comfortable managing multi-phase projects with occupied campuses or fast-track timelines.
OSHA 30 certification and a clean background for school clearance are required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not mandatory.
Job Offer
Competitive base salary ($90,000-$120,000) depending on experience.
