Superintendent- K-12 Construction

We're seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation K-12 school construction projects across Miami-Dade County. This role requires a proactive leader with a proven track record of managing field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule performance on education-focused builds.

Description

• Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to final handover.

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal teams to maintain progress and quality standards.

• Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and district-specific regulations.

• Manage project schedules, monitor critical path milestones, and mitigate delays proactively.

• Communicate daily with project managers and clients to provide progress updates and resolve issues.

• Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and craftsmanship required by the school district.

Profile

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience, preferably with a focus on K-12 or public works projects.

• Strong knowledge of Florida building codes, DOH/DOC standards, and school board inspection requirements.

• Excellent leadership, scheduling, and communication skills.

• Comfortable managing multi-phase projects with occupied campuses or fast-track timelines.

• OSHA 30 certification and a clean background for school clearance are required.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not mandatory.
