Financial Analyst
This client is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Analyst to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing insightful financial analysis, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Description
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost-saving and revenue enhancement. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to summarize financial performance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and review of annual budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis to track performance against targets.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to forecast financial outcomes, assess potential business scenarios, and support decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for senior management and stakeholders. Present financial insights and recommendations clearly and effectively.
- Data Interpretation: Analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to assess the company's financial position.
- Cost Control & Profitability: Assist in cost management and optimization by analyzing expense trends and recommending areas for improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (e.g., sales, operations, and marketing) to understand business drivers and provide actionable financial insights.
- Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist with audits and external reporting.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (CFA, CPA, or similar) is a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related roles. Experience in [specific industry, e.g., healthcare, manufacturing, tech] is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas), financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or others), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- High level of accuracy and precision in financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to identifying issues, solving problems, and recommending solutions.
- Ability to collaborate with others in a dynamic team environment and work effectively under pressure.
