  • Adhere to all safety policies and company standards; report unsafe conditions to leadership or the Safety Committee.
  • Promote safe behaviors and maintain a safety-focused culture on the production floor.
  • Participate actively in safety initiatives and report workplace safety concerns.
  • Review production schedules, work orders, and staffing requirements to determine labor and material needs.
  • Communicate with department supervisors to assess progress and identify necessary adjustments.
  • Modify schedules as needed in response to design changes, material shortages, labor constraints, or other operational disruptions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams-such as management, engineering, sales, and procurement-to ensure alignment on priorities.
  • Address production or shipping issues by collaborating with internal teams, vendors, or customers.
  • Requisition and maintain appropriate inventory levels of materials and supplies.
  • Distribute production schedules and work orders to relevant departments.
  • Compile data on production rates, inventory usage, and workflow status for reporting purposes.
  • Facilitate timely movement of materials and parts to maintain production flow.
  • Plan production commitments or job timelines using sales forecasts.
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they achieve operational goals.
  • Maintain positive morale and foster a team-oriented environment.
  • Identify and organize training and development opportunities for staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Profile

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing production management role
  • Familiarity with MRP systems or related platforms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong overall computer skills
