Project Manager | Metal Foundry | Chicago, IL
My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee key projects across product development, production, logistics, and process improvement. The role involves coordinating teams, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role will report directly to the CEO, making it an incredible opportunity to work directly with the C-suite of a global org!
Client Details
My client is a well-reputed, global manufacturer of non ferrous metal products. With highly successful production sites across the globe, the company is in an excellent position to continue expanding. They seek an experienced Project Manager to spearhead new product launch and continuous improvement initiatives, primarily for their production site in the Chicago suburbs.
Description
- Develop detailed project plans for new product launches, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Lead cross-functional teams, assign tasks, and ensure projects stay on track.
- Manage project budgets and resources efficiently.
- Identify potential risks and implement strategies to minimize delays or disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain quality controls.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and prepare status reports.
- Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Experience working in metal casting and/or a metal foundry environment
- 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera) and ERP systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Job Offer
- Base salary $110,000-$140,000 depending on level of experience
- Annual bonus based on company profit
- 3 weeks PTO plus personal days
