Project Manager
A regional general contractor is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with healthcare construction experience to oversee multiple projects near Syosset, NY. This individual will be responsible for delivering complex hospital and medical facility builds on time, within scope, and on budget.

Description
Lead full project lifecycle: from pre-construction through closeout
Develop project schedules and budgets, and monitor performance
Collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, and superintendents
Manage contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
Maintain compliance with safety and quality regulations
Provide clear project updates to stakeholders and internal leadership
Profile
This person is a confident, solution-oriented leader with strong technical knowledge of healthcare construction. They thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are highly skilled in project planning, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving under pressure. Experience in occupied healthcare environments is a plus.
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
3+ years of experience leading healthcare or hospital construction projects
Proven success in delivering projects from ground-up and renovations
Familiarity with healthcare-specific codes and compliance standards
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Strong knowledge of project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)
Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and cross-functional teams
OSHA 30 certification preferred
