Estimator - NYC
The Estimator will play a crucial role in the construction department, preparing accurate cost estimates and contributing to successful project execution. This position in the property industry requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of construction processes in New York.

Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine the scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project budgets.
- Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for cost efficiency and compliance.
- Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market trends and pricing.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on project estimates to leadership teams.
- Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Track and monitor project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

A successful Estimator should have:
