Lead Superintendent - Garden Style Multifamily

We are seeking a Lead Superintendent to oversee large-scale garden-style multifamily apartment projects across Florida for a Miami-based general contractor. This role will lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Description

• Lead all on-site operations for garden-style apartment projects from ground-up through completion.

• Manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors, vendors, and field staff.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, sequencing, and site logistics plans.

• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.

• Conduct daily site walks, quality control inspections, and coordination meetings.

• Work closely with Project Managers to track progress, budgets, and change management.

• Oversee inspections, punch lists, and successful project closeout.

• Mentor and supervise Assistant Superintendents and junior field staff.

Profile

• 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent with garden-style multifamily construction in Florida.

• Proven experience leading ground-up apartment projects from start to finish.

• Strong knowledge of Florida building codes, inspections, and subcontractor markets.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schedules.

• OSHA certification preferred; strong safety-first mindset required.
