Banking Consultant

This contract requires 5 days in the office and is ongoing. The contractor will handle account-related requests, deliver exceptional customer service, investigate customer issues, conduct internal account reconciliations, collect documents in compliance with KYC policies, and ensure all processes adhere to BSA/AML laws and regulations.

Client Details

Our client is a large, foreign, International Bank. With its full-fledged services, our client specializes in corporate lending, international trade services, treasury business, U.S. dollar clearing, retail banking, correspondent banking and various other lines of business.

Description

The consultant will support a range of operational activities, including assisting customers with routine account-related inquiries, researching and resolving customer issues, and identifying opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services in alignment with the Bank's policies and procedures.

This consultant will be part of the Banking Operations team, providing support to manage the increased volume of tasks related to new business account openings, account signer change requests, RFI/KYC documentation, and day-to-day operations. Responsibilities will also include generating ICS and CDARS daily/monthly reports, providing witness services for sister branches, preparing bank confirmations and reference letters, issuing bank statements, and managing internet banking services such as user updates. Additional duties will involve handling CD account activities (including openings, maturity, interim withdrawals, and interest rate adjustments), particularly for School District CDs, as well as updating customer information such as address or contact person changes.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• Fluent in Mandarin (read, write, speak) ** THIS IS REQUIRED **
• Solid understanding of banking products and services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of banking operational procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in task execution.
