As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical systems for the Ink/F&B and Chemicals sectors. The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing equipment and systems related to the Food/Ink industry. This position requires a strong technical background and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Located in the western suburbs, this facility is part of a global leader in the production of printing inks and coatings. It specializes in high-performance solutions for commercial, packaging, and digital printing applications. The site plays a key role in research, development, and manufacturing, supporting a wide range of industries that rely on vibrant, durable, and sustainable print technologies. With a strong emphasis on innovation and environmental responsibility, the organization is known for its commitment to quality, customer service, and continuous improvement in print chemistry.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
- 7+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Chemical processing experience
- Strong proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks/Fusion360 preferred), mechanical simulation tools, and P&ID development.
- Hands-on experience with pumps, piping systems, mixing/blending equipment, and automated machinery.
- Knowledge of custom print design review and implementation
- Demonstrated project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional engineering initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Job Offer
- Base salary up to $125,000 based on experience
