Engineering Manager - Manufacturing - Ware, MA
This role oversees engineering activities across several manufacturing sites, with emphasis on injection molding operations, tooling, and process optimization. The Engineering Manager will guide a multidisciplinary team, manage technical projects, and champion continuous improvement, quality, and efficiency across the organization

Description
This Engineering Manager will:
- Lead and mentor engineering and tool room teams; provide coaching, resource planning, and performance oversight
- Oversee injection mold design, build, optimization, troubleshooting, and adherence to industry standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality
- Manage project scopes, timelines, resource allocation, and cross‑functional coordination for new and existing products
- Lead the quotation process for new programs; evaluate requirements, tooling needs, and feasibility
- Provide deep technical expertise in tooling, injection molding processes, materials, and equipment
- Collaborate with operations, quality, and design teams to resolve issues and support production optimization
- Promote innovation, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the engineering group

Profile
A successful Engineering Manager will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
- Extensive background in injection molding and custom molded products
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering and tool room teams
- Strong understanding of molding processes, tooling, and materials, including complex troubleshooting
- Proficient in project management methodologies
- Collaborative communicator with excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Familiarity with CAD tools and modern engineering systems
