General Manager - Precision Manufacturing - Littleton, MA
The General Manager leads all onsite operations, driving efficiency, team alignment, and organizational growth for a specialized manufacturing business. This role oversees production, quality, logistics, customer relationships, and strategic expansion efforts.

Description
This General Manager will be:
- Collaborating with production leadership to maximize efficiency and throughput
- Providing temporary oversight of quality until a dedicated hire is made
- Managing communication across production, office, and logistics teams
- Setting the tone for accountability, communication, and teamwork
- Motivating and supporting employees through organizational changes and growth initiatives
- Working with production, engineering, office, and purchasing teams to drive alignment
- Supporting HR‑related activities including engagement and personnel coordination
- Engaging directly with customers and rebuilding external relationships
- Helping reestablish former customer accounts and expand customer base
- Contributing to structured sales strategy and long‑term growth planning
- Representing the company with customers, vendors, and partner
Profile
A successful General Manager will be:
- Demonstrating leadership experience in manufacturing operations
- Bringing experience in gear manufacturing or precision machining (preferred)
- Working effectively in turnaround, scale‑up, or startup‑style operations
- Bringing customer‑facing or sales experience within manufacturing
- Managing responsibilities across operations, quality, staffing, and logistics
- Communicating effectively with both shop‑floor teams and customer
