Superintendent - Federal/Municipal Projects in Newport RI

Description
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for:
- Oversee field operations for short-duration federal construction projects on the Newport base
- Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to meet tight schedules
- Enforce strict safety standards and daily documentation (OSHA 30 required)
- Manage worksite activities to ensure quality and compliance with federal contract specifications
- Communicate regularly with senior staff and contribute to schedule updates and issue resolution
Profile
In return for a generous compensation package, the successful candidates will possess the following:
- 4-7+ years years of Superintendent experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related preferred (or relevant experience)
- Project experience in federal or public space
- Experience working locally around Providence preferred
- Ability to communicate with subcontractors and other project team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
