Description

The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Oversee field operations for short-duration federal construction projects on the Newport base
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to meet tight schedules
• Enforce strict safety standards and daily documentation (OSHA 30 required)
• Manage worksite activities to ensure quality and compliance with federal contract specifications
• Communicate regularly with senior staff and contribute to schedule updates and issue resolution

Profile

• 4-7+ years years of Superintendent experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related preferred (or relevant experience)
• Project experience in federal or public space
• Experience working locally around Providence preferred
• Ability to communicate with subcontractors and other project team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
