My client is hiring an experienced Project Engineer for their growing Illinois facility. This role involves managing engineering projects, leading teams, and serving as a key contact for critical customers.

Description
- Serve as a point of contact for customers, to determine feasibility of manufacturing, provide quotes/estimates, and maintain communication through the project life cycle.
- Utilize CAD skills to help develop product designs.
- Develop and execute project plans.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee all aspects of the project, including design, manufacturing, and delivery.
- Identify, analyze, and manage project risks.
- Conduct regular project reviews and generate progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with industrial standards and company policies.
- Manage project resources effectively and efficiently.
Profile
- 3+ years' experience in a similar Engineering role within Manufacturing.
- Background in automotive manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication and/or stamping processes.
- Experience generating quotes for materials/projects.
- Proven project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software.
- Strong understanding of the industrial / manufacturing sector.
Job Offer
- Base salary $80,000 - $100.000 depending on experience.
- 3 weeks PTO.
