Benefits Manager | Hybrid in NYC

The Benefits Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs. This role requires expertise in benefits management to ensure compliance and alignment with firm goals.

Description

  • Develop and manage comprehensive employee benefits programs, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits administration.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to negotiate and manage contracts for employee benefits.
  • Analyze and evaluate current benefit offerings to identify areas for improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefit options and enrollment processes.
  • Prepare and present reports on benefits usage, trends, and financial impact to leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources team to integrate benefits with other HR initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain program relevance and compliance.

Profile

A successful Benefits Manager should have:

  • 5+ years benefits administration experience (required).
  • 2+ years people management experience (required).
  • Bachelors degree (required).
  • Workday experience (required)
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex benefits information to employees clearly.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams in Human Resources and beyond.
  • Ability to work onsite in NYC office at least 2 days a week.
