Superintendent - Luxury Residential - Salem, NH
A well‑established luxury residential builder is hiring a seasoned Residential Superintendent to lead high‑value renovation and ground‑up projects throughout New Hampshire. This role is ideal for a hands‑on field leader who enjoys autonomy, travel within the state, and working on architecturally significant homes.
Client Details
Our client is a privately held luxury residential construction firm founded in 2010, employing 20+ construction professionals. They specialize in high‑end custom homes, large‑scale renovations, and historic restorations, offering end‑to‑end services from pre‑construction through post‑move‑in support. While their corporate office is in Massachusetts, their work spans Greater Boston, the North Shore, MetroWest, and New Hampshire.
Description
The Residential Superintendent will be responsible for:
- Managing day‑to‑day field operations on high‑end residential projects
- Overseeing subcontractors, schedules, site logistics, and inspections
- Ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to luxury quality standards
- Coordinating closely with project managers, architects, and ownership
- Leading site meetings and maintaining clear documentation and reporting
- Enforcing plans, specifications, and building codes
- Problem‑solving field issues proactively to minimize schedule or cost impacts
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a residential builder
- Strong background in high‑end/luxury residential construction
- Experience managing renovations and new builds valued from $1M+
- Ability to work independently on projects located far from the main office
- Strong communication and leadership skills with subs and clients
- Willingness to travel throughout New Hampshire as projects require
