Director of Tax Reporting - ATLANTA - Real Estate
The Director of Tax Reporting will report into the EVP of Tax and lead the reporting function of all U.S. income tax.

Our client is a leading real estate development, investment, and management firm. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, our client is one of the largest multi-family firms in the United States.
Description
The key responsibilities of this role include the following:
- Lead US income tax reporting, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant federal, state, and international filings.
- Provide strategic guidance to optimize work flows and drive team growth and efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional projects, collaborating with Legal, Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Investor Relations to improve tax processes and support business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external consultants, and auditors.
Profile
The ideal candidate will posses the following qualities:
- 10+ years of experience doing federal/state/international tax experience
- Investment fund and REIT exposure
- CPA strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently/Reliable
- Ability to be in office 5 days per week
