Senior Project Manager - School Renovation
Seeking a qualified Senior Project Manager specializing in K-12 school reconstruction, restoration work, exterior and interior renovations. Ideal candidate has 5+ years Project Management experience and can seamlessly operate in occupied spaces.

Our client is a mid-sized, full service contracting, construction and management company specializing in K-12 school renovation.
Description
- Oversee a team of 3-4 project managers, ensuring quality and coordination of work, client interface, and resource utilization.
- Prepare schedules of values and manage project budgets.
- Timely preparation of submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and change order requests.
- Ensure accurate and complete project documentation.
- Facilitate and understand the bidding, negotiation, and buyout process.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to meet or exceed project requirements.
- Plan, schedule, and track projects to ensure milestones are met.
- Review project drawings and specifications to identify potential issues before mobilization.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all managed projects.
- Coordinate and direct subcontractors and vendors, developing strong working relationships.
- Understand subcontractor scopes and contracts, identifying opportunities and risks.
- Resolve project issues professionally with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
- Work with on-site superintendents to deliver high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
- Complete projects to maximize profits and client satisfaction.
- Prepare, coordinate, and attend all required project meetings with stakeholders.
- Identify and negotiate time extensions when justified.
- Ensure timely completion of punch lists to client satisfaction.
- Review and implement safety plans before project commencement.
- Ensure compliance with company contractual standards before work execution.
Profile
- 5+ years Project Management experience in school renovation
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management is a plus but not required
- 30-hour OSHA Certification is required.
- 64-Hour Site Safety Training is a plus
