Description

Construction Estimator - Multifamily Projects Up To $40M - Lowell is responsible for the following:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including ground-up and adaptive re-use builds
• Manage the full bid process from concept through final proposal submission
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Preconstruction on strategy, scope, and cost planning
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive and accurate estimates
• Solicit and review subcontractor and vendor pricing to support bid accuracy
• Assist in developing value engineering options and construction alternatives
• Participate in client presentations and preconstruction meetings as needed
• Maintain current knowledge of market trends, material costs, and construction methodologies
• Use software tools such as Procore, P6, and BIM/VDC to streamline estimating processes
• Support multiple active and upcoming projects in a fast-paced yet steady work environment

Profile

The Estimator Candidate will possess the following skills

• 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction
• Strong base-level understanding of both hard bid and negotiated work
• Comfortable working solo while contributing as a strategic voice within a small, supportive team
• Candidates must be commutable to Lowell, MA (this is an in-office role with no hybrid option)
