We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager - Manhattan, NY to oversee high-end commercial interior fit-outs and renovations in Manhattan. This role requires strong leadership in budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination to ensure the successful delivery of interior construction projects.

Our client is a well-established top ENR firm in the NYC Building and Construction Industry specializing in premium commercial interior projects across Manhattan. They work on corporate offices, retail spaces, hospitality, and institutional renovations, collaborating with top architects, designers, and real estate developers to create outstanding interior environments.

Description

Commercial Construction Project Manager - Manhattan, NY

  • Lead and manage commercial interior construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
  • Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain project alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with NYC building codes, permits, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor site progress, troubleshoot issues, and uphold high-quality and safety standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Profile

Commercial Construction Project Manager - Manhattan, NY

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, specifically in commercial interiors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage projects in Manhattan/NYC, with deep knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, etc.).
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
