Our client is a well-established general contracting and construction management firm with decades of experience delivering complex commercial, institutional, industrial, and design-build projects. Their work spans higher education facilities, sports venues, water/wastewater treatment plants, healthcare facilities, hospitality, and industrial projects.

Job Description
- Review, analyze, and resolve design and construction issues and discrepancies.
- Coordinate with client representatives, architects/engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure all project engineering activities comply with contract requirements, schedule, and specifications.
- Manage document control: maintain up-to-date design documents, submittals, RFIs, change orders, project logs, submittal logs, and procurement tracking.
- Assist with material procurement tracking and vendor/subcontractor coordination.
- Support schedule maintenance: monitor schedule adherence, flag potential delays, and advise on mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical support to determine cost-effective and schedule-efficient construction methods.
- Represent the company at client, A/E, and contractor meetings when required.
- Assist with quality control and ensure construction work meets specification and quality standards.
- Maintain official project documentation files, including as-built drawings and close-out documents.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by the Project Manager or Superintendent.

A successful Project Engineer should have:
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
