The Manufacturing Engineer focuses on integrating new projects into production and enhancing existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and ergonomics. Description
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
rovide knowledge, energy, and a can-do attitude with associates and customers.
Understand and leverage company systems to structure part routings, work instructions, reports, and performance summaries.
Refine and enhance products and processes by applying continuous improvement.
Design and manufacture part tooling/fixturing in accordance with capability standards, internal price structure, and external customer requirements.
Develop a daily, weekly, monthly routine that organizes your activities and ability to keep up with requirements.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing industry networks, and benchmarking state-of-the-art engineering practices.
Learn, review, and understand all product capabilities including painting, compounds, form-in-place gaskets, conformal coatings, robotics, and electromechanical assembly.
Provide technical engineering support by collaborating with existing employees effectively.
Work within the company's established quality system by following policies, procedures, and instructions.
Profile
Ideal Manufacturig Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
1-3+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, preferably with electronics, EMI/RFI products, or electromechanical assemblies.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or other solid modeling software; 3D printing and CNC familiarity are a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
Skilled in Microsoft Office and capable of creating and analyzing reports, plans, and documentation.
Demonstrated ability to understand technical drawings, assess problems, and implement data-driven solutions.
Experience applying Lean or Six Sigma tools to drive continuous improvement.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer-focused problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
