LAUSD Estimator
We are currently seeking a seasoned LAUSD Estimator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and contribute to shaping educational facilities.

Description
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for LAUSD construction projects, including new builds, renovations, and modernization efforts.
- Analyze project documents, including drawings, specifications, and RFPs, to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to gather cost data and validate project scope.
- Identify project risks and opportunities during the estimating process to ensure budget accuracy.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of LAUSD construction standards, regulations, and procurement processes.
- Collaborate with the project management team to support bidding and contract negotiations.
- Provide periodic updates and reporting on cost estimates, project budgets, and variance analyses.
Profile
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience working on LAUSD construction projects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of LAUSD design standards, estimating procedures, and procurement practices.
- Proficiency in estimating software (such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar tools).
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
