Senior HVAC Mechanic - Property Management - Northern MA - Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC maintenance and repairs for 2+ million square feet of commercial real estate across Northern MA.
• Perform inspections, repairs, and scheduled maintenance for all types of HVAC units and equipment, including chiller plants, heat pumps, and cooling towers.
• Ensure all systems operate at peak efficiency by troubleshooting distribution systems for velocity, volume, temperature, and pressure.
• Oversee HVAC code-required compliance testing and maintain comprehensive records for inspection and safety standards.
• Manage third-party service providers, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation every six weeks.
• Collaborate with the Construction Management division on new projects and renovations, including system commissioning and as-built organization.
• Assist in training other technicians and staff in preventative maintenance best practices.

Profile

Senior HVAC Mechanic - Property Management - Northern MA - Will have

• Minimum 5+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (stable employment history strongly preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, energy management systems, and mechanical equipment.
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • MA Refrigeration License (Required)
  • OSHA 10 or 30 (Preferred)
  • Honeywell Control System experience (Preferred)
• Strong team orientation, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and safely use ladders.
• Must be commutable to Westford/Burlington, MA.
