Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily - Springfield,VA
The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager to support project initiation, subcontractor buy-out, subcontract administration, quality assurance, and field issue resolution for a new multifamily project with 400 units across eight stories, featuring three levels of concrete and five of wood framing. As a permanent hire, you'll play a pivotal role in project oversight with potential for future opportunities.

Description
- Assist with project startup, including job buyout and subcontract administration
- Review and interpret drawings and specifications; support implementation of QA procedures
- Resolve daily field issues with project teams and superintendents
- Attend project meetings, ensuring alignment on schedule, safety, and quality goals
- Proficiently manage Procore software for project documentation and communication
- Contribute to achieving milestones: buyout, top-out, first/last turn, and closeout phases
Profile
- Proficiency in Procore software and experience in multifamily or large commercial construction
- Proven skills in managing project documentation, subcontractor coordination, and quality procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with clients, project teams, and superintendents
