We are working with a growing Manufacturing company in their search to add a Field Service Engineer to the team due to growth. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience working with Electrical Controls and will be able to travel 50% of the time while the other 50% will be on site. Description
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the following:
Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of power supply systems, including generators, inverters, transformers, and electrical control panels.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems, subsystems, and power distribution equipment.
Conduct system diagnostics and testing to ensure proper functionality and compliance with industry standards.
Provide technical support and training to customers regarding system operations and maintenance.
Work closely with engineering and technical teams to resolve complex system issues.
Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation of field activities.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures while working on-site.
Travel to client locations as needed to perform on-site services and emergency repairs.
Profile
The ideal Field Service Engineer will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in field service, electrical controls, or power systems maintenance.
Strong understanding of electrical subsystems, control circuits, and power distribution systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical control panels, PLCs, and related automation systems.
Experience reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to power systems and electrical safety.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to travel 50% and work in various field environments.
Certifications in electrical systems, power distribution, or related fields.
Experience working with UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems and energy storage solutions.
Familiarity with remote monitoring systems and IoT-based power management tools.
Job Offer
The successful Field Service Engineer will be rewarded with the following:
- Base Salary of $70,000-$100,000 depending on experience
