Description

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the following:

• Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of power supply systems, including generators, inverters, transformers, and electrical control panels.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems, subsystems, and power distribution equipment.

• Conduct system diagnostics and testing to ensure proper functionality and compliance with industry standards.

• Provide technical support and training to customers regarding system operations and maintenance.

• Work closely with engineering and technical teams to resolve complex system issues.

• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation of field activities.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures while working on-site.

• Travel to client locations as needed to perform on-site services and emergency repairs.

Profile

The ideal Field Service Engineer will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in field service, electrical controls, or power systems maintenance.

• Strong understanding of electrical subsystems, control circuits, and power distribution systems.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical control panels, PLCs, and related automation systems.

• Experience reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to power systems and electrical safety.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Willingness to travel 50% and work in various field environments.

• Certifications in electrical systems, power distribution, or related fields.

• Experience working with UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems and energy storage solutions.

• Familiarity with remote monitoring systems and IoT-based power management tools.

Job Offer
