Accounting Manager
The Accounting Manager will oversee all key aspects of accounting operations and play a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy and integrity. This role is responsible for managing the month-end close process, preparing financial statements, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvements in processes and controls.

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements; ensure consistency with internal and external reporting standards.
Manage sales tax, use tax, business licenses, registration renewals, property tax, and other required filings.
Enhance and maintain strong internal controls and process improvements; ensure internal audit compliance as applicable.
Serve as the accounting point of contact for cross-functional collaboration with FP&A and Operations teams.
Support treasury operations including bank reconciliations and cash forecasting.
Maintain fixed asset ledgers and ensure appropriate depreciation policies are applied.
Collaborate with FP&A on annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Provide analytical insights through regular reporting packages and variance analysis, highlighting key business trends for management.
Coordinate annual insurance reporting and liaise with insurance brokers on policy updates, claims, and location changes.
Manage transactions in SAP, including approving new suppliers and reviewing/approving supplier payments.
Perform and oversee intercompany reconciliations.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Collaborate with other departments and external parties to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Handle ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is a plus).
6-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a mid-sized or high-growth environment within retail or consumer goods.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, with experience in financial statement preparation and audit support.
Experience with SAP; advanced Excel skills required.
Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Experience within wholesale, retail, or eCommerce-especially fashion or apparel-is a major plus.
Self-starter with the ability to independently build and maintain efficient reporting models and dashboards.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change, streamline operations, and foster a culture of excellence.
Highly organized, agile, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
