Sr Project Manager - Healthcare - Alexandria,VA - Owner's Rep

Our client is seeking a Healthcare Senior Project Manager to oversee a ground-up federal hospital project in Alexandria, VA. This role requires significant experience in healthcare construction, project management, and QA/QC oversight. The position will be on-site full-time with a strong emphasis on work-life balance, working 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday. The hospital project is expected to run through 2027, with more work to follow.

Description

• Lead and manage healthcare construction projects, focusing on QA/QC.
• Oversee all phases of construction, including site inspections, testing, and work flow management.
• Ensure compliance with construction drawings, security requirements, and building codes.
• Provide technical oversight in all engineering disciplines.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and staff to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage contractor relationships and provide owner's oversight on design/build activities.

Profile

• 7+ years of healthcare construction project management experience.
• Experience managing projects valued over $1M, with a strong focus on hospital construction.
• QA/QC experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is highly preferred. Candidates without a degree must have 20+ years of relevant experience.
• Ground-up large-scale healthcare construction is highly preferred.
• General Contractor (GC) experience required.
