Description
As the High-End Retail Interior Superintendent, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of luxury retail interior construction projects in Miami. Your role is crucial in ensuring the flawless execution of high-end design visions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a leadership position requiring strong coordination, expert problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of high-end retail interior construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Lead and coordinate onsite teams including subcontractors, architects, designers, and engineers to ensure smooth workflow and project timelines.
- Maintain strict adherence to project budgets, schedules, and quality standards while delivering exceptional results.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients, design teams, and construction teams, fostering strong, positive relationships.
- Review and approve all project documentation, including contracts, schedules, change orders, and progress reports.
- Proactively identify and resolve any potential issues or delays before they impact project completion.
- Provide consistent updates to stakeholders and senior management on project status, risks, and milestones.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Project Manager with a focus on high-end retail or luxury interior construction.
- Strong knowledge of luxury retail design trends, construction processes, and material specifications.
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects with a high level of complexity.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, construction codes, and building standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience working on projects for high-end retail brands such as luxury fashion, jewelry, or lifestyle brands.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus, as this position may require coordination with international teams.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
