Director of Engineering and Maintenance - Braintree, MA

The role of the Director of Engineering and Maintenance is to lead and oversee all engineering and maintenance operations within an industrial manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong leader with technical expertise and the ability to manage a large team.

Description

Reporting directly into the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the following:

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
• Manage, lead and develop the engineering and maintenance team
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Plan and manage project budgets
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment
• Work closely with other departments to optimize production processes
• Report directly to senior management on performance and project progress

Profile

A successful Director of Engineering and Maintenance should have the following qualifications:

• A degree in Engineering, or a related field, relevant years of experience will also be considered
• Prior experience in a leadership role within an industrial / manufacturing environment
• 10+ years of experience working in an manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of experience in a management capacity
• Technical knowledge of the relevant machinery and equipment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
