Preconstruction Manager

The Preconstruction Manager/Estimator will play a key role in overseeing preconstruction activities and preparing detailed cost estimates for design build projects. This position in the construction department requires a skilled professional with expertise in budgeting and project management.

Description

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to define project requirements.
• Review project plans, specifications, and documents to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, including soliciting and analyzing bids.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs and timelines.
• Assist in contract negotiations and procurement processes.
• Present project estimates and proposals to stakeholders.
