Preconstruction Manager
The Preconstruction Manager/Estimator will play a key role in overseeing preconstruction activities and preparing detailed cost estimates for design build projects. This position in the construction department requires a skilled professional with expertise in budgeting and project management.

Description
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to define project requirements.
- Review project plans, specifications, and documents to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, including soliciting and analyzing bids.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs and timelines.
- Assist in contract negotiations and procurement processes.
- Present project estimates and proposals to stakeholders.

Profile
A successful Preconstruction Manager/Estimator should have:
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
