Construction - Assistant Project Manager - New York, NY
This APM role supports all phases of commercial interior renovation projects, from preconstruction through closeout. You'll coordinate with field teams, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth execution on fast-paced, detail-oriented builds.

Description
- Support PMs in creating and maintaining project schedules and budgets
- Handle RFI submissions, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes
- Coordinate material procurement, subcontractor communication, and site readiness
- Track job costs, manage closeout documentation, and assist with punch lists
- Conduct walkthroughs and work closely with Supers to align field progress with client expectations
- Help enforce safety and quality standards on active jobsites
Profile
Entry-Level or 1-4 years of experience supporting commercial interior construction projects in NYC. You're sharp, organized, and reliable under pressure, with an eye for detail and strong follow-through. You know how to communicate effectively with subs, vendors, and clients-and you're ready to grow into a PM role in the next couple of years.
