CNC Process Engineer - Aerospace - Manchester, CT
This CNC Process Engineer focuses on developing, improving, and optimizing manufacturing processes for complex aerospace components. You will collaborate closely with engineering, machining, and customers to ensure high quality, efficient production.

Description
This CNC Process Engineer will be:
- Developing and improving manufacturing processes
- Supporting new product introductions and existing programs
- Reviewing customer specifications and engineering changes
- Designing tooling and fixturing solutions
- Troubleshooting shop floor process and equipment issues
- Creating operation sheets and engineering documentation
- Analyzing data to confirm design and process feasibility
- Driving continuous improvement and waste reduction efforts
- Collaborating with operators, customers, and vendors
Profile
A Successful CNC Process Engineer will have:
- CNC machining background with hands-on experience
- 5+ years in aerospace manufacturing engineering preferred
- Prior machinist experience strongly preferred
- Engineering, metallurgy, or materials degree preferred
- Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100D standards
- Working knowledge of Mastercam and SolidWorks
- Experience using ERP systems
- Strong analytical and collaborative skills
