Superintendent - Nationwide Travel (100%)
We're hiring a Superintendent to manage ground-up construction projects across the U.S., with operations run from Louisville HQ. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-visibility restaurant and retail builds while working with a well-established, family-owned general contractor experiencing strong growth.
Client Details
A 3rd-generation, family-owned general contractor founded in 1978, with headquarters in Louisville and an expanding presence in Dallas. The business operates across commercial, healthcare, industrial, and energy sectors, with a strong footprint in KY and TX and licensing across nearly all U.S. states. Known for long-term client relationships (84% repeat business), they deliver projects for major restaurant brands, healthcare systems, and financial institutions.
Description
- Lead ground-up construction projects nationwide (restaurants & big box)
- Manage site operations, schedules, subcontractors, and safety compliance
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Coordinate with the Director of Field Operations and project stakeholders
- Travel fully across the U.S. (flights, hotels covered + per diem)
Profile
A successful Superintendent - Nationwide Travel (100%) should have:
- 5-10+ years' experience as a Superintendent in construction
- Proven ability to run projects independently
- Ground-up construction experience (restaurants highly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards; HAZWOPER preferred
Job Offer
$100,000 - $125,000 base salary
- 401k match + car allowance
- Medical, dental, and 3 weeks PTO
- Full travel coverage + ~$60/day per diem (negotiable)
