Description
- Lead the project team in developing and managing the project schedule.
- Drive task completion and coordinate stakeholders to meet critical milestones, including design, procurement, construction, startup, commissioning, punch-listing, and closeout.
- Oversee project scheduling and monitor construction site progress to ensure on-time and on-budget completion.
- Select, coordinate, and manage subcontractors throughout various project phases.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and issue subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Identify potential risks and implement contingency plans.
- Manage contributions from diverse stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Support the Superintendent in project execution.
- Oversee the administration of construction contracts and ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
- Work with the project team to develop and manage the project budget, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and maximizing profitability. The Project Manager is responsible for the project's overall financial performance.
- Maintain consistent and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage all aspects of the project closeout phase, ensuring compliance with closure requirements.
- Consistently demonstrate professionalism, integrity, credibility, and commitment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or Civil Engineering preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in Construction Project Management, preferably with a focus on Design-Build and Manufacturing.
- Strong technical background and relevant experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence team members, partners, and customers.
