The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. They will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Construction Superintendent will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate all phases of construction and ensure that projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Description

Construction Superintendent

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and other workers on the job site.
  • Ensure that all work is done in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other requirements.
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure that they are accurate and complete.
  • Work with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports.
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Identify and address issues and problems that arise during construction.
  • Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and safety audits to ensure that the job site is safe and secure.

Profile

The Construction Superintendent will possess the following skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
  • Several years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in the commercial or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and other requirements.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
